John BOLER of Wingfield Park

Was at the murder at Hepworths on Monday night June 9th. [J. Turners confession] [W. Turners confession]

Was at Pentrich Lane and after the murder & carried a pike. [James Hill]

On Monday the 9th he assisted Isaac Ludlam Jnr, William Ludlam, James, Joseph & Benjamin Taylor in peeling poles and fixing nails on them. [Isaac Ludlam]

Charles BOOTH

Applied to A. Booth on the 5th meeting held at Asherfield Barn the latter end of May or the beginning of June to get a pike head from William Turner as a pattern to make others by. [A.Booth]

A. Booth saw him, James Weightman & Alexander Johnson grinding a pike which they said they had from Jesse Fletcher of Pentrich. [A.Booth]

Was with the mob at Mr. Samuel Fletchers of Pentrich & had a spear in his hand. [W. Shipman]

George BOOTH of Mosley

Was with the mob at Pentrich. [W. Shipman]

John BOOTH of Ripley

Went from Ripley on the 10th June in the 2nd party under W. smith who with George Anthony were appointed Captains by the General. [G. Burrows] [John Alkins confession]

About a fortnight ago he produced & John Cope read Sherwins Pamphlet at a meeting at (Brassington) an odd house between Ripley & Butterley, of John.  Joseph. John, Michael & Thomas Onions, John Cope, Timothy Mantle, John Stone, James      and said it was the best Pamphlet that ever was had. [John Onions]

John BRADLEY of Pentrich

George BRAMLEY of Wingley

Was at the murder of Hepworths on Monday night the 9th of June. [J.Turners confession]

James BRAMLEY of Pentrich

Was appointed secret committee man for Pentrich in the place of A. Booth who declined acting. [A.Booth]

Richard BRAMLEY of South Wingfield

Was at the murder at Hepworths on Monday night June 9th. [J.Turners confession]

Was with the mob & carried a Hay fork. [H.Hole]

William BRAMLEY of Swanwick

Was with the party at Codnor. [T. Jennings]

George BRASSINGTON of Ripley: Miner

Joined George Burrows, William Smith & others on the march for Langley mile on Tuesday morning June 10th armed with a gun & pitchfork. [George Burrows]

Passed by the sign of the Glass House in Codnor about half past 8 o�clock, armed with a gun, with the party from Ripley. [Joseph Thorpe] [John Alkin confession]

Was apprehended on Tuesday morning at or near Eastwood by the Military, armed with a gun loaded, primed & cocked. [Amos French] [Matthew Mills]

He was delivered into the custody of John Day who searched his pockets & found in them 9 pieces of flint and three leaden balls. [John Day]

Thomas BRASSINGTON of Ripley

The Ripley Hampden club held at his house. [G. Burrows]

George BREEDON of Swanwick; Collier

Was at Hannah Marriotts of Butterley Park had a stick and afterwards a gun was very active upon the march in breaking open houses & taking men & arms. [John Revill] [Thomas Jennings]

Francis BRIDDON of Wingfield

Was at the murder at Hepworths on Monday night June 9th [J. Turners confession]

Samuel BRIDDON of Wingfield

Was at the murder at Hepworths on Monday night the 9th of June. [J. Turners confession] [W. Turners confession]

Edward BRIGGS

Collected people of Heanor and was armed with a gun. [John Fletcher]

Robert BRIGGS

Was with the insurgents in their march from Butterley for Codnor & Kimberley on Tuesday morning early and carried a fork. [Thomas Hardy]

John BROWN of Ilkeston

On the 6th June he told John Graham of Ilkeston that a revolution would take place on the 10th. [John Graham]

Thomas BROWN of Pentrich

William BROWN

Collected people at Heanor & was armed with a fork. [John Fletcher]

George BRYAN of Swanwick

There was found upon him on his commitment by the Prison Keeper, a powder horn top, 2 screws from a gun lock & 4 gun flints. [Thomas Wright] [Edward Robinson]

Sir Francis BURDETT

Member of Parliament - Was mentioned to be a proper man for the head of the New Government. [James Booth] [John Fletcher]

Was to present the petition for Reform sent from Ripley. [Edward Moore]

He had been seen in London by William Smith of Ripley who took up his petition, as Smith told Edward Moore. [Edward Moore]

No good could be done till he was made King  was the language held out by one Nelson of Derby at a meeting of the Heanor Hampden Club. [John Fletcher]

George BURROWS of Ripley: FWK

Was appointed secret committee man with William Smith for Ripley. [A. Booth]

German BUXTON of Swanwick: Miner

About 10 o�clock on Monday evening June 9th he told William Peach his neighbour the revolution would begin the next day  the signal was given all Yorkshire would come the next day and drive them all before them. [William Peach] [Thomas Clark]
